Activities commence in Group Rotation:

Refreshments will be available throughout the day from our base camp, which is situated to allow the guests to over look both Ground & Airborne activities whilst not participating in events.

Points will be awarded throughout the day for demonstrated skill, aptitude and finesse.

ACTIVITY 1: HOVER THE HELICOPTER

Fasten your seatbelt for a lift you’ll never forget! Each guest will be demonstrated a take off and the art of hovering motionless in one of our Robinson R22 Helicopters. We challenge you even the most talented aviator in your group to successfully achieve this in 15 minutes. We promise it will be an exhilarating experience trying!

ACTIVITY 2: LAND THE PLANE

After a short briefing from your instructor, it’s cleared for take off for a 30-minute flight in our Cessna 152 & Robin DR 400 aircraft. You’ll climb to 3000ft and learn the art of pitch, bank & roll. Once mastered… you have control to return to the airfield and attempt to ‘Land the Plane’ yourself. You’ve dreamed of flying a plane…now you can!

ACTIVITY 3: RED FISH HOVERCRAFT CONTEST

For those who prefer to keep a low level approach to Their flying, the challenges of our Red Fish hovercraft are a must. You’ll need a delicate touch and a healthy respect for corners – there are no brakes! Our safety team will demonstrate the techniques of controlling these unorthodox machines before putting your skills to the test. You’ll be flying just inches above the ground but your adrenaline will be pumping high. Points will be awarded (and deducted) as you tackle our Hover slalom course.

13.00 LUNCHEON SERVED IN ‘WINGS’

A hot home cooked Lasagne & salad followed by dessert, tea & coffee.

14.00 ACTIVITIES RECOMMENCE

GRAND FINAL OF HOVERCRAFT SLALOM

16.00 AFTERNOON TEA SERVED IN ‘WINGS’

Presentation of MA2 Flight Jackets awarded to the best 2 pilots of the day.
