In the heart of Rome’s business centre, the Sheraton Roma Hotel & Conference centre is a great choice when visiting the Eternal City. Surrounded by the lush greenery of the EUR district, and located between the historical city centre and Fiumicino/Leonardo Da Vinci Airport.

A recent full-scale renovation has made the hotel the regions premier business and convention venue, with special SmartMeeting rooms featuring the latest in technology so that the event runs as smoothly as possible.

634 guest rooms and suites are designated in a classic European style, making you feel comfortable and relaxed.

The guests could be split across two hotels, the main conference hotel and the Sheraton Golf Parco de' Medici Hotel & Resort, which is only 4km from the conference hotel. This second hotel is the same standard, and same chain, as the main hotel.

Accommodation prices: £137.50 per single room per night

Conference facility

The conference will take place over two days for 600 delegates, with lunch and two breaks included (one in the morning which includes a pastry, and one afternoon). Standard technical equipment is also included.

  • The conference facility (which is the entire ‘Le Signorie’ ball room) is onsite at the hotel and has 14,209sq ft, with a capacity for 600 delegates classroom style.
  • The hotel offers W-Lan in all meeting areas.
  • Included free of charge: Video Data projector, Overhead Projector, screen, flipchart and conference pad and pens.

Day delegate rate: £80.00 per person.

The conference facility has been reserved for your exclusive use for the day prior to the conference. The day charge for this exclusive hire is £5,000.00.

Welcome reception

On the evening of arrival, Wednesday 21st, after check-in all delegates will be invited to a welcome drink, which will be accompanied by a selection of fine canapés.

Delegate rate: £16.00 per person.

Transfers

Transfers will be provided by executive coaches. The expected transfer time from the airport to the hotel (or visa versa) is 20 minutes.

In addition to the airport transfers some delegates will require inter-hotel transfers on the day of the conference, these will be arranged in advance.

Delegate rate: £40.00 per person.

Flights

The flight time from UK airports is around 2 hours 30 minutes dependent on the city of departure.

Below are some examples of options, which are not exhaustive. If you would like further options on smaller or larger aircraft please let us know. The aircraft could be branded internally (head rests etc) at an additional cost.

The flights quoted are: Exclusive of taxes and security charges; Includes standard catering with a cash bar; Subject to crew and slot availability; Subject to fuel surcharges; and, Subject to ongoing availability.

London Gatwick:

B737 with 189 seats £46,536.00 (£246.22 per seat)

Manchester:
MD83 with 161 seats £32,400.00 (£201.24 per seat)

Birmingham:
B737 with 130 seats £32,118.00 (£247.06 per seat)

For scheduled carriers, such as British Airways and Alitalia, we will need confirmation of the conference prior to quoting. This will also apply to groups travelling out prior to the conference. We would expect that scheduled flights would start at around £150.00 plus taxes for a group fare, reaching in excess of £350.00 for late space or large groups.

Average delegate cost

We expect most delegates base package will include: Chartered flights including taxes; Two nights single occupancy bed and breakfast accommodation; Welcome reception; Full conference including lunch and coffee breaks; and, Airport transfers.

Expected average cost: £700.00 per delegate.
